I got up at 8:40 ready to go to the second rehearsal. Everyone else was up before me, which isn't unusual! We had a spot of breakfast and a bath before we packed our lunch bags. We have to walk about a mile to get to the rehearsal room from our apartment, which will take some getting used to twice a day, but I'm sure will manage.
The rehearsals were not as bad as yesterday because this morning we sang our solos which are 'Maybe' and 'Tomorrow'. We then had a break after which we the blocking for scene 3 with 'Hooverville' which annie has a couple of lines in. We had a lunch break when we went for a walk down the street to Tesco Metro where we bought the ingredients for my tea. After lunch we went through 'I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here' where annie has to do 3 lifts. in the middle of it we smelled smoke because one of the buildings near by had caught fire! Luckily we were all fine.
We came home at 6:00 and are going to have a lovely roast chicken dinner. After that we plan to play on our computers and genrally do stuff. I am quite tired now but I think that's because we had a late night last night. I am really looking forward to the rest of the rehearsals and shows!

Hi Victoria and other Annies and mums, glad you are enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI have driven over 300 mile today and been on the following motorways
M11, M25, M1, M6, M6 toll, M62, M60, M56 and M53 - not bad in one day!
Having had two lousy nights sleep in the sauna - I mean the Premier Inn I am having an early night. I guess that since we left on Sunday morning I have had about 6 hrs sleep so I am cream crackered. I am going to Manchester tomorrow. Dogs are in grannies still.
Please ask Lydia's mum if the Annie mummy application forms have been sorted out !!
Look forward to reading your blog tomorrow. I will try an I chat with you later. Given I am useless on the computer and my IT department is with you I am not holding out too much hope !
Enjoy your chicken dinner !
Chicken dinner was great thanx
ReplyDeleteGlad everything going well, say hello to lydia and susan and of course molly and her mum from meg and i and ali mary and the orphans. Meg was so pleased to hear that its joe playing rooster, he was her favourite last tour.
ReplyDeleteHad a couple of problems with your spotlight entry but nothing that couldn't be sorted with the aid of my trusty credit card !!!! any way you should be in soon if you're not already, i can't access it though apparently you should each get a private pin number and these can be got from richard kort so maybe your mum could ask him next time she speaks to him. Meanwhile I have had an incredible noisy and very mad day doing the rocky horror picture show with the youth theatre guys. Your friends get more and more wierd everyday victoria. We've been doing the time warp and sweet transvestite from transylvania, i had to explain to the ones that hadn't seen the film that they were aliens who couldn't decide if they were men or women and dressed up in wierd and wonderful clothes and hugged and kissed everyone regardless of whether it was a boy or a girl, so as you can imagine nothing new there just an ordinary day at bitesize. well hope there's something nice for tea when i get home, meg and bill have gone to tesco's so we'll see what they come back with. Take care lots of love Linda
what the place almost went on fier!
